Lecture 3: Resurrection and Rebirth of the New Man and the Old Man
Let’s open the Bible to 2 Corinthians 5:17-20, turn it over and read together:If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; all things have become new. All is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. This is that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting this message of reconciliation to us. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal to you through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.
1. We are messengers of the gospel

12 The old man died with Christ; the new man was raised with Christ--Romans 6:8
(2) The Holy Spirit fights against the flesh

To redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into your (literally, our) hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” Galatians 4:5-6If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are no longer of the flesh but of the Spirit. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9

1 Our flesh has been sold to sin
We know that the law is of the spirit, but I am of the flesh and have been sold to sin. Romans 7:14
2 The flesh loves to obey the law of sin
Thank God, we can escape through our Lord Jesus Christ. From this point of view, I obey the law of God with my heart, but my flesh obeys the law of sin. Romans 7:25
3 Our old man was crucified with Christ →→The body of sin is destroyed, and you are separated from this mortal body.

According to the meaning in me (the original text is man) → this in my heart ( people ) about the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ( spirit man ) The spiritual body, the spiritual person, lives in us, this invisible ( spirit man ) is the real me; what you can see from the outside is just a Shadow ! Therefore, the Holy Spirit dwells in regenerated spiritual people! This reborn ( Newcomer ) The spiritual body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, because this body was born of Jesus Christ, and we are his members! AmenSo, do you understand?
(3) The lust of the flesh contends with the Holy Spirit
→→The old man and the new man fight
At that time, those who were born according to the flesh ( old man ) persecuted those who were born according to the Spirit ( Newcomer ), and this is the case now. Galatians 4:29I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit lusteth against the flesh: these two are opposed to each other, so that you cannot do what you wish to do. Galatians 5:16-17
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To be carnally minded is death; to be spiritually minded is life and peace. For the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor can it be, and those who are carnal cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8
(4) Either inside the body or outside the body
I know a man in Christ who was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago; (Whether he was in the body, I don’t know; or whether he was outside the body, I don’t know; only God knows.)… He Being caught up into paradise, he heard secret words that no man could speak. 2 Corinthians 12:2,4

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God
I say to you, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither corruptible nor immortal. 1 Corinthians 15:50
Note: Adam was born of flesh and blood. He is mortal and cannot inherit the kingdom of God; Luke 24:39, the Lord Jesus said! The soul has no bones or flesh. Therefore, it was not that Paul’s old man, body or soul, was raptured to the third heaven, but Paul’s regenerated new man ( spirit man ) The spiritual body was lifted up to the third heaven.So, do you understand clearly?
Discussing the letters written by the apostles regarding the resurrection and rebirth:
[ peter ] You have been born again, not of perishable seed, but by the living and abiding word of God... 1 Peter 1:23, for Peter... And other disciples witnessed the resurrection of Jesus, speaking in the Acts of the Apostles Says, “His soul is not left in Hades, nor does his body see corruption.[ John ] In the vision of Revelation, we saw 144,000 people following the Lamb. These are those who are not born of blood, not of lust, nor of the will of man, but are born of God. Jesus said, "That which is born of flesh is flesh; that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6 and 1:13

[ paul ] The revelation received was greater than that of the other apostles - 2 Corinthians 12:7. Fourteen years ago, he was caught up to the third heaven and into paradise!
He himself said: "I know this man who is in Christ; (whether in the body or out of the body, I don't know, only God knows.)Because Paul personally experienced being born of God ( Newcomer ) was raptured into paradise!
So the spiritual letters he wrote were richer and deeper.
On the old man and the new man:
( Newcomer ) If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17( old man ) I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live... ( Resurrected with Christ as a spiritual body )
What is sown is a physical body, what is raised is a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there must also be a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians

( Put on the new man, put on Christ )
Therefore you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:26-27
( The soul and body are preserved )
May the God of peace sanctify you completely! And may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! He who calls you is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
( Rebirth, new man body appears )
When Christ, who is our life, appears, you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:4
The apostle Paul personally experienced ( Resurrection and rebirth with Christ ) was lifted up into the third heaven paradise! He just wrote many precious spiritual letters, which are of great benefit to those of us who later believe in us. We can understand the relationship between the regenerated new man and the old man, the visible man and the invisible spirit man, the natural body and the spiritual body, and sin. Those who are innocent and those who are innocent, those who have sinned and those who will not sin.We are resurrected with Christ as new beings ( spirit man ) has spirit, soul and body! Both soul and body must be protected. Amen
So for us Christians have two people , the old man and the new man, the man born of Adam and the man born of Jesus, the last Adam, the fleshly man born of the flesh and the spiritual man born of the Holy Spirit;
→→Because the results of life come from the heart, the Lord Jesus said: “According to your faith, let it be done to you! Matthew 15:28
Many preachers in the church today do not understand that there are two persons after resurrection and rebirth. There is only one person who preaches the word →Old man and new man, natural and spiritual, guilty and innocent, sinful and unsinful Mixed preaching to teach you , when the old man sins, cleanse his sins every day, Treat the blood of Christ as normal . When you look up Bible verses and compare them, you always feel that what they say is wrong, but you don’t know what is wrong with what they say? Because they said " The way of yes and no ", right and wrong, you can't tell the difference without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

2. Be a messenger of the gospel of Christ
→→No old man the transgressions of Newcomer On your body!
This is God in Christ, reconciling the world to himself and not alienating them ( old man )’s transgressions are upon them ( Newcomer ), and has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19Brothers, it seems that we are not debtors to the flesh ( Because Christ has paid the sin debt ) to live according to the flesh. Romans 8:12
Then he said: I will remember their sins and their transgressions no more.
Now that these sins have been forgiven, there are no more sacrifices for sin. Hebrews 10:17-18
3. The resurrected new man will appear
(1) The new man appears in glory
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:3-4(2) The body of the new man appears similar to his glorious body
He will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body, according to the power by which He is able to subdue all things to Himself.Philippians 3:21
(3) You will see His true form, and the body of the new man will appear like Him
Dear brothers, we are children of God now, and what we will be in the future has not yet been revealed; but we know that when the Lord appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2Today we are sharing "Resurrection" here.
