Peace to my dear brothers and sisters in God’s family! Amen
Let’s open our Bible to Colossians chapter 3 verse 9 and read together: Do not lie to one another, for you have put off the old man and its deeds. Amen
Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "Take Off" No. 3 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! virtuous woman [The Church] sends forth workers through the word of truth, which is written and spoken by their hands, the gospel of our salvation and glory. Food is transported from the sky from afar and supplied to us at the right time to make our spiritual life richer! Amen. Ask the Lord Jesus to continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see spiritual truths → Understand that I was crucified, died, and buried with Christ → I have departed from the old man and his practices. Amen!
The above prayers, supplications, intercessions, thanks, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen.
(1) Having put off the old man
Question: When did we put off the old man?
Answer: It turns out that the love of Christ motivates us; because we think that since "Jesus" died for all, all died; refer to 2 Corinthians 5:14 → Those who have died are "freed from sin" . And all died → and all were freed from sin. So Christ died on the cross for our sins and was buried → 1 free from sin, 2 free from the law and the curse of the law, 3 free from the sinful life of the old man Adam. Therefore, Jesus Christ was crucified and died for our sins and was buried → In this way, we have "already" put off the old man. So, do you understand clearly?
(2) Have put off the old behavior
Question: What are the behaviors of the old man?
Answer: The works of the flesh are obvious: adultery, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, dissensions, heresies, and envy. words), drunkenness, carousing, etc. I told you before and I tell you now that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Reference - Galatians Chapter 5 Verses 19-21
Question: How do we put off the behaviors of the old man?
Answer: Those who belong to Christ Jesus have "crucified" the flesh with its passions and desires. →The word "already" here means that it has happened. Christ was crucified and died. Did it happen? Since it happened → I believe that we were crucified, died and buried with Christ → our old man and old man’s behavior → the evil passions and desires of the flesh were crucified together → we “have” put off the old man and old man’s behavior. So, do you understand clearly? Reference-Galatians 5:24
(3) Put on the new self and put on Christ
Question: The old man has been put off, now put on →whose body life?
Answer: Put on the "incorruptible body and life" of Jesus Christ
Put on a new man. The new man is renewed in knowledge into the image of his Creator. Reference - Colossians Chapter 3 Verse 10
And put on the new self, created in the image of God in true righteousness and holiness. Reference-Ephesians Chapter 4 Verse 24
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[Note]: "Put on" the new → "put off" the old; have the new body and life of Christ → Adam's "old body and life are the same as those of the world, and the outer body gradually becomes corrupted and destroyed due to lust", and finally the old man "accounts for" The shed "takes off itself and returns to dust."
And we put it on" Newcomer "→Yes" live "In Christ → He who is hidden with Christ in God, through" Holy Spirit "Renewed day by day → When Christ appears, our lives will appear with Christ in glory. Amen! Do you understand this clearly? Reference - 2 Corinthians 4:16 and Colossians 3:3
alright! Today I would like to share my fellowship with you all. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen
