Let’s open the Bible to Hebrews chapter 4 verse 1 and read together: Since we have been left with the promise of entering into his rest, let us fear lest any of us (originally, you) seem to fall behind.

(1) All you who labor and are heavy laden, Jesus gives you rest
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. ”--Matthew 11 verses 28-30
(2) The promise of entering into his rest
1 Take up your cross, and lose your life, and you will gain the life of Christ: Then he called the people together with his disciples, and said to them, "If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For, Whoever wants to save his life will lose it; whoever loses his life for me and the gospel will save it. Reference - Mark 8:34-35.
2 being united to him in the likeness of death, and to him in the likeness of resurrection: Or do you not know that we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that we might walk in newness of life, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father. If we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, we shall also be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection; Reference - Romans 6:3-5
(3) Those who have believed can enter rest
Since we are left with the promise of entering into His rest, let us fear lest any of us (originally, you) seem to fall behind. For the gospel is preached to us as it was preached to them; but the word they hear is of no benefit to them, because they have no faith "mingled" with the word they hear. But we "already" → those who believe can enter that rest, as God said: "I have sworn in my anger, 'They shall not enter my rest!'" In fact, the work of creation has been completed since the creation of the world. . Hebrews 4:1-3
