(Note: The paper version is "vine"; the electronic version is "shield")
1. Faith
Question: What is faith?Answer: "Faith" means faith, honesty, truth, and amen; "virtue" means character, holiness, righteousness, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
2. Confidence
(1) letter
Question: What is a letter?Answer: Detailed explanation below
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The ancients had wonderful evidence in this letter.By faith we know that the worlds were created by the word of God; so that what is seen was not created out of the obvious. (Hebrews 11:1-3)
For example, a farmer is planting wheat in the field. He expects that if a grain of wheat falls into the ground and is planted, it will produce many grains in the future. This is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(2) Based on faith and to faith
For the righteousness of God is revealed in this gospel; this righteousness is by faith from faith to faith. As it is written: “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17)
(3) Faith and promise
Believe in Jesus and receive eternal life:“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
From faith to faith:
Based on faith: Believe in Jesus and be saved and have eternal life! Amen.
To the point of believing: Follow Jesus and walk with Him to preach the gospel, and receive glory, reward, crown, and a better resurrection. Amen!
If they are children, then they are heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. If we suffer with Him, we will also be glorified with Him. (Romans 8:17)
