Let’s open our Bible to Galatians chapter 6 verse 14 and read together: But I will never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Amen
Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "Detachment" No. 6 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! (1) The world has been crucified
But I will never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. --Galatians 6:14
Christ died for our sins to save us from this evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. --Galatians 1:4
Question: Why is the world crucified?
Answer: Because the world was created "through" Jesus. Jesus, the Lord of creation, was crucified on the cross → Hasn’t the world been crucified on the cross?
In the beginning there was the Tao, and the Tao was with God, and the Tao was God. This Word was with God in the beginning. All things were made through him; without him nothing was made that was made. --John 1:1-3
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, but the world did not know him.
1 John 4:4 Little children, you are of God, and you have overcome them; for He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world.
(2) We belong to God; not of this world
We know that we belong to God and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. --1 John 5:19
Take heed to yourselves, and do not act as fools, but as wise. Make the most of the time, for these days are evil. Don’t be a fool, but understand what the Lord’s will is. --Ephesians 5:15-17
[Note]: The whole world lies in the power of the evil one, and the present age is evil; → Christ died for our sins according to the will of our God and Father, to save us → from this evil age. Reference - Galatians Chapter 1 Verse 4
The Lord Jesus said: "We who are "born of God" are not of this world, just as the Lord is not of this world → I have given them your "word". And the world hates them; because they are not of the world, just as I They are not of the world. I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Reference - John 17 14. -16 knots
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; for He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world. They are of the world, so they speak about the things of the world, and the world listens to them. We belong to God, and those who know God will obey us; those who do not belong to God will not obey us. From this we can recognize the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Reference-1 John 4:4-6
