1. Dedication of Doctors from the East

2. Dedication of two kinds of people
(1)Cain and Abel
Cain → One day Cain brought an offering from the fruits of the ground to the LORD;Abel → Abel also offered the firstborn of his flock and their fat. The Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, but not for Cain and his offering.
Cain became very angry and his countenance changed. Genesis 4:3-5

What Cain offered was without faith, love, and reverence for God, Jehovah. He just offered what the ground produced casually, and he did not offer the first fruits of the good produce as an offering. Although the Bible did not explain it, God had already rebuked him. He said that his offering was not good and was not acceptable.
→The Lord said to Cain: "Why are you angry? Why is your countenance changed? If you do well, will you not be accepted? If you do poorly, sin lurks at the door. It will lust after you. You, you shall subdue it.” Genesis 4:6-7.
(2) Hypocrites give tithes
(Jesus) said, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe mint, fennel, and celery;
On the contrary, the more important matters in the law, namely justice, mercy, and faithfulness, are no longer acceptable. This is the more important thing you should do; it is also necessary. Matthew 23:23
The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, nor like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of everything I get. ’ Luke 18:11-12
(3) God does not like those offered according to the law
You do not like burnt offerings and sin offerings.At that time I said: God, here I come,
To do your will;
My deeds are written in the scrolls.
It says: “Sacrifice and gift, burnt offering and sin offering, which you did not want and which you did not like (these are according to the law)”; Hebrews 10:6-8

Note: Because Abraham and Jacob knew in their hearts that everything they received was given by God, so they were willing to give ten percent;
The Pharisees, on the other hand, were under the law and donated according to the regulations of the law. They obtained all their money by their own cleverness. They reluctantly donated one tenth of "everything I earned", just like paying taxes compulsorily.
