Peace to my dear brothers and sisters in God’s family! Amen
Let’s open our Bible to Colossians chapter 3 verses 9-10 and read together: Do not lie to one another, for you have put off your old self and its deeds and have put on the new self. The new man is renewed in knowledge into the image of his Creator.
Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "separate" No. 3 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! virtuous woman [The Church] sends forth workers through the word of truth written and spoken in their hands, which is the gospel of your salvation and glory. Food is transported from the sky from afar and supplied to us at the right time to make our spiritual life richer! Amen. Ask the Lord Jesus to continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see spiritual truths → Understand "putting on" the new man and "putting off" the old man; the new man is separated from the old man .
The above prayers, supplications, intercessions, thanks, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen
"Newcomer"
For he is our peace, and has made the two into one, and has broken down the dividing wall; and in his body he has destroyed the enmity, even the statutes written in the law. , in order to create "a new man" through the two, thus achieving harmony. --Ephesians 2:14-15
If anyone is in Christ, he is a "new creation." Old things have passed away, and all things have become new. --2 Corinthians 5:17
If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you are no longer of the flesh but of the Spirit. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. --Romans 8:9
[Note]: If the Spirit of God "dwells" in you, you are not of the flesh but of the Spirit.
ask: How is the new man separated from the old man?
answer: The Spirit of God is the "Holy Spirit" and the Spirit of His Son → "dwells" in your hearts → that is, the "reborn" new man "does not belong" to the old man, Adam's flesh, but belongs to the Holy Spirit. →The "new man" lives in Christ because of righteousness; the "old man" dies because of sin. Therefore, the "new man" does not belong to the "old man"; the "new man" is "reborn" through the truth of the gospel → breaks away from the old man → the new man is "separated" from the old man; the "new man" is hidden with Christ in God until Christ returns → The "new man" appears → appears with Christ in glory. Amen! So, do you understand clearly? Reference-Colossians 3:3
"Old Man"
Do not lie to one another, for you have put off the old man and its practices - Colossians 3:9
If you have heard his word, received his teaching, and learned his truth, then you must put off your old self, which is corrupting through the deceitfulness of lust. --Ephesus Book 4:21-22
[Note]: You have listened to his words, received his teachings, and learned his truth → you have heard the "word of truth". Since you have believed in Christ, you have received the promised "Holy Spirit" as a seal → you are reborn! See Colossians 1:13. →In this way, you have "put off" →"the old man and the behaviors of the old man. This old man is gradually getting bad due to the deception of selfish desires →the outer body is destroyed."
1 The "old man" body died due to sin → gradually deteriorated, the outer body was destroyed, the tent was torn down → and finally returned to dust.
2 The "new man" lives by the righteousness of God → is renewed and built in Christ through the "Holy Spirit", is renewed day by day, and "grows up" → is full of the stature of Christ → Christ returns and appears in glory. Amen! So, do you understand clearly? Reference - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
alright! Today I would like to share my fellowship with you all. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen
