Let’s open the Bible to Romans Chapter 6 Verse 4 Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that we might walk in newness of life, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father.
Today we study, fellowship, and share the Pilgrim’s Progress together intermittently "Into the Death of Christ Through Baptism" No. 5 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! The virtuous woman [the church] sends out workers: through their hands they write and speak the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, our glory, and the redemption of our bodies. Food is transported from the sky from afar and supplied to us at the right time to make our spiritual life richer! Amen. Ask the Lord Jesus to continue to illuminate the eyes of our souls and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see your words, which are spiritual truths→ Being baptized into death causes our every move to be likened to new life. ! Amen.

(1) into death through baptism
Do you not know that those of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that we might walk in newness of life, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father. If we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, we shall also be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection; see Romans 6:3-5
ask: What is the “purpose” of being baptized into Christ’s death →?
answer: "Purpose" is →
1 Join him in the form of death → destroy the body of sin;
2 Join him in the form of resurrection → give us new life in every move! Amen.
Note: Baptized “into death” → into the death of Christ, dying with Him, Christ left the ground and was hung on a tree is “ die standing ” → It is a glorious death! Christians are baptized, and it is God who makes us glorified. Christians do not die with Adam. Adam died falling to the ground or lying down, which is a shameful death → a death without glory. So Christ It is very important for believers to be "baptized". Being baptized into the death of Christ is for you to be glorified. Do you understand this clearly?
(2) Be united with him in the form of death
If we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection; Reference (Romans 6:5)
ask: How to be united with Him in the likeness of His death?
answer: "Be baptized"! You decide to “be baptized” → to be baptized into the death of Christ → that is to be united with Him in the likeness of His death → to be crucified! You were baptized, "into" the death of Christ! God will let you be crucified with Him . Therefore the Lord Jesus said → Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light → You were “baptized” into His death, and you were counted as crucified with Christ , is it not easy to be united to him in the likeness of death? Is the burden light? Yes, right! So, do you understand?
Refer to Romans 6:6: For we know that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that the body of sin might be destroyed, so that we should no longer serve sin;
(3) Be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection
ask: How to be united with Him in His resurrection likeness?
answer: Eat and drink the Lord’s Supper! On the night when the Lord Jesus was betrayed, he took bread, and after giving thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body which is given for you.” After the meal, he also took the cup and said, “This cup It is the new covenant in my blood. ”→He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. Reference (John 6:56) and (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Note: Eat and drink the Lord’s Meat and Blood →→Does the Lord’s body have a shape? Yes! When we eat the Lord’s Supper, do we eat and drink with “ shape "The body and blood of the Lord? Yes! →→ Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. Reference (John 6:54). Therefore, when we eat the Lord’s supper and drink the body and blood of the Lord →→ he will be resurrected. We are united with Him in His form. Every time we eat, we eat the Lord’s supper regularly, which increases our faith from faith to faith, strength from strength to glory, and new life day by day. In this way, you understand. Got it?
(4) Give us a new style in every move we make
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; all things have become new. Refer to 2 Corinthians 5:17
Be renewed in your mind, and put on the new self, created after the image of God in true righteousness and holiness. Refer to Ephesians 4:23-24
(5) Drink in one Holy Spirit and become one body
Just as the body is one but has many members, and even though the members are many, they are still one body, so it is with Christ. Whether we are Jews or Greeks, whether we are slaves or free, we are all baptized by one Holy Spirit, become one body, and drink of one Holy Spirit. Refer to 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
(6) Build up the body of Christ, unite in the faith, grow up, and build yourself up in love.
He gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, and to build up the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of God His son grew up to a mature man, attaining to the stature of the fullness of Christ,... through whom the whole body is held together properly, with every joint serving its purpose, and each joint supporting one another according to the function of the whole body, so that the body may grow, and in Build yourself up in love. Refer to Ephesians 4:11-13,16
[Note]: We are united to Christ through "baptism" → infused death and buried with Him → If we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, we shall also be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection → For every act we have There are new styles. Like Christ raised from the dead through the glory of the Father. →Put on the new man, put on Christ, drink from one Holy Spirit, and become one body →It is the "Church of Jesus Christ" →Eat spiritual food and drink spiritual water in Christ, and grow into a mature man, full of the stature of the fullness of Christ → By Him the whole body is properly joined together, and every joint has its proper work, and helps one another according to the function of each part, so that the body may grow and build itself up in love. (7) Follow the footsteps of the Lord
When Christians run the Pilgrim's Progress, they do not run alone, but join a large army. Everyone helps each other and loves each other in Christ and runs together → look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith → run straight towards the cross, and we must To receive the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. See Philippians 3:14.
