John 12:25 Whoever loves his life will lose it; but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
1. Cherish your own life
ask: What does it mean to cherish your own life?
answer: "Love" means fondness and fondness! "Cherish" means stingy and stingy. To "cherish" one's own life is to love, like, cherish, care for, and protect one's own life!
2. Lose your life
ask: Since you cherish your life, why should you lose it?
answer: " lose "It means giving up and losing. Losing life means giving up and losing one's own life! →→" Abandon "Just for the sake of gain → is called giving up;" lost "Just to get it back→ lose one's life , It is to have the life of the Son of God. If you have the life of the Son of God, you will have eternal life. ! So, do you understand? Refer to 1 John 5:11-12. So, do you understand?
ask: How to obtain eternal life? Is there any way?
answer: repentance →→ Believe the gospel!

3. Those who hate their own lives in the world
(1) We who are of the flesh have been sold to sin
We know that the law is of the spirit, but I am of the flesh and have been sold to sin. The flesh is sold to sin, that is, it works for sin and is a slave of sin. Reference (Romans 7:14)
(2) He who is born of God will never sin
Whoever is born of God does not sin, because the word of God abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Reference (1 John 3:9)
(3) Hating one’s own life in the world
ask: Why do you hate your life in this world?
answer: Because you have believed in the gospel and in Christ, you are all children born of God→→
1 Whoever is born of God will never sin;
2 The old man born of the flesh, the carnal man has been sold to sin → loves the law of sin and is a transgressor of the law;
3 He who hates his life in the world.
ask: Why do you hate your own life?
answer: This is what we are sharing with you today → He who hates his own life must preserve his life for eternal life! Amen

Spirit and flesh at war
(1)Hate the body of death
As "Paul" said! I am of the flesh and have been sold to sin. I want the "new" but I do not do the "old." I hate the "new" but I am willing to do the "old". Even if this is the case, it is not the "new" self that does it, but the "sin" that lives in me. → There is no good in the "old" self. "New" I like the law of God → "the law of love, the law of no condemnation, the law of the Holy Spirit → the law that gives life and leads to eternal life"; "old" my flesh obeys the law of sin → it takes me captive and calls me I obey the law of sin in my members. I am so miserable! Who can save me from this body of death? Thank God, we can escape through our Lord Jesus Christ. Reference-Romans 7:14-25
(2)Hate the mortal body
→We groan and labor in this tent, not willing to put off this, but to put on that, so that this mortality may be swallowed up by life. Refer to 1 Corinthians 5:4
(3)Hate the corruptible body
Put off your old self, which is corrupting through deceitful lusts; refer to Ephesians 4:22.
(4)Hate the sick body
→ Elisha was mortally ill, 2 Kings 13:14. When you sacrifice the blind, isn't this evil? Isn’t it evil to sacrifice the lame and the sick? See Matthew 1:8

4. Preserving life from God to eternal life
1 We know that whoever is born of God will never sin; whoever is born of God will keep himself (there are ancient scrolls: He who is born of God will protect him), and the evil one will not be able to harm him. Reference 1 John 5:18
2 1 Thessalonians 5:23 May the God of peace sanctify you completely! And may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto everlasting life.
3 Keep the sound words which you have heard from me, with faith and love that is in Christ Jesus. You must guard the good ways entrusted to you by the Holy Spirit who lives in us. Refer to 2 Timothy Chapter 1:13-14
