Lecture 4: Preaching the Gospel of Peace
Let’s open our Bibles to Ephesians 6:15 and read it together: “Having put on your feet the preparation for walking with the gospel of peace.”

(1)Jesus said
Jesus said to them, "This is what I told you when I was with you: that everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms." 2. Peter said

3. John said

2. The Gospel of Peace
(1)Give you rest
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:28-29)
(2) be healed
He hung on the tree and bore our sins personally so that, having died to sin, we might live to righteousness. By his stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
(3) Get eternal life
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
(4) be glorified
If they are children, then they are heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. If we suffer with Him, we will also be glorified with Him.
(Romans 8:17)
3. Put on your feet with the gospel of peace as shoes to prepare you for walking
(1)The gospel is the power of God
I am not ashamed of the gospel; for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For the righteousness of God is revealed in this gospel; this righteousness is by faith from faith to faith. As it is written: “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)
(2) Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom of heaven
Jesus traveled through every city and every village, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and disease. (3) Jesus sent workers to harvest the crops
