"Believe in the Gospel" 5
Peace to all brothers and sisters!
Today we continue to examine fellowship and share "Belief in the Gospel"
Let’s open the Bible to Mark 1:15, turn it over and read together:Said: "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel!"
Lecture 5: The gospel frees us from the law and its curse
Question: Is it good to be free from the law? Or is it better to keep the law?Answer: Freedom from the law.
Question: Why?Answer: Detailed explanation below
1 Everyone who works by the law is under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of the law.” Galatians Book 3:102 It is evident that no one is justified before God by the law; for it is said, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Galatians 3:11
3 Therefore by the works of the law no flesh will be justified before God, for the law is a convict of sin. Romans 3:20
4 You who seek to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ and have fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4
5 For the law was not made for the righteous, "that is, the children of God," but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for the parricide and murderer, for the sexually immoral and fornicator, for the robber or for any other thing that is contrary to righteousness. 1 Timothy 1:9-10

(1) Break away from Adam’s covenant-breaking law
Question: Free from what law?Answer: To be freed from the sin that leads to death is Adam’s “breaking of the covenant” law. God commanded Adam! (But you shall not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day you eat from it you will surely die!"), this is a commandment law. Genesis 2:17
Question: Why are all humans under the curse of the law when the “first ancestors” broke the law?Answer: This is just like sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and death came from sin, so death came to everyone because everyone sinned. Romans 5:12
Question: What is sin?Answer: Breaking the law is sin → Anyone who sins breaks the law; breaking the law is sin. 1 John 3:4
Note:
All have sinned, and in Adam all were under the curse of the law and died.
Die! Where is your power to overcome?Die! Where is your sting?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
If you want to be free from death, you must be free from sin.
If you want to be free from sin, you must be free from the law of sin's power.
Amen! So, do you understand?

(2) Being freed from the law and the curse of the law through the body of Christ
My brethren, you also are dead to the law through the body of Christ... But since we died to the law by which we are bound, we are now free from the law... See Romans 7: 4,6Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming the curse for us; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.” Galatians 3 :13
(3) Redeemed those who were under the law so that we could receive sonship
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5
So, the gospel of Christ frees us from the law and its curse. Advantages of being free from the law:
1 Where there is no law, there is no transgression. Romans 4:152 Where there is no law, sin is not counted. Romans 5:13
3 For without the law sin is dead. Romans 7:8
4 Whoever does not have the law and does not follow the law perish. Romans 2:12
5 Whoever sins under the law will be judged according to the law. Romans 12:12

We pray together to God: Thank you Heavenly Father for sending your beloved Son, Jesus, who was born under the law, and redeemed us from the law and the curse of the law through the death and curse of Christ’s body hanging on the tree. Christ rose from the dead to regenerate us and make us righteous! Obtain the adoption as the son of God, be released, be free, be saved, be reborn, and have eternal life. Amen
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen
