Let’s open our Bible to Romans chapter 7 verse 14 We know that the law is of the spirit, but I am of the flesh and have been sold to sin.
Today we study, fellowship, and share "The Law is Spiritual" Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank the Lord for sending workers through the word of truth written and spoken by their hands → to give us the wisdom of the mystery of God that was hidden in the past, the word that God predestined for us to glory before all the ages! Revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Amen! Ask the Lord Jesus to continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can see and hear spiritual truths → Understand that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly and have been sold to sin. .

(1) The law is spiritual
We know that the law is of the spirit, but I am of the flesh and have been sold to sin. --Romans 7:14
ask: What does it mean that the law is spiritual?
answer: The law is of the spirit → “of” means belonging, and “of the spirit” → God is spirit – refer to John 4:24, which means that the law belongs to God.
ask: Why is the law spiritual and divine?
answer: Because the law was established by God → There is only one lawgiver and judge, the one who can save and destroy. Who are you to judge others? Reference - James 4:12 → God establishes laws and judges people. There is only one God who can save people or destroy them. Therefore, "the law is of the spirit and of God." So, do you understand clearly?
ask: For whom was the law established?
answer: The law was not made for oneself, not for the Son, nor for the righteous; it was made for "sinners" and "slaves of sin" → for the law was not made for the righteous, but for the lawless and disobedient, The ungodly and sinners, the unholy and worldly, parricide and murderers, adulterers and sodomites, snatchers and liars, perjurers, or any other thing that is contrary to righteousness. Note: In the beginning there was the Tao, and the “Tao” is God → The law was established as “things that are against the right way and against God.” So, do you understand clearly? Reference - 1 Timothy Chapter 1:9-10 (Unlike the foolish people in the world who think they are wise, they set up the law themselves, and then "put" the heavy yoke of the law around their necks. Breaking the law is sin → Convicting oneself, the wages of sin is death, killing oneself)
(2) But I am of the flesh
ask: But what does it mean that I am carnal?
answer: Spiritual living beings are also translated as fleshly living beings and fleshly living beings → It is also written in the Bible: “The first man, Adam, became a living being with spirit (spirit: or translated as flesh and blood)”; the last Adam became the life-giving spirit. Reference - 1 Corinthians 15:45 and Genesis 2:7 → So "Paul" said, But I am of the flesh, a living being of spirit, a living being of flesh, a living being of the flesh. So, do you understand clearly?
(3) It has been sold to sin
ask: When was my flesh sold to sin?
answer: Because when we are in the flesh, that is because “ law "and" born "of evil desires "that is selfish desires "works in our members to bear the fruit of death → When lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death. Therefore" crime " yes He who was born of the law , so, do you understand clearly? Reference - James chapter 1 verse 15 and Romans chapter 7 verse 5 → This is just like sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and death came from sin, so death came to everyone because everyone sinned crime. Romans 5 verse 12. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve. Our bodies are born from their parents and so have been sold to sin. So, do you understand clearly?
(4) Let the righteousness of the law be fulfilled in us who do not follow the flesh but only follow the Spirit . --Romans 8:4
ask: What does it mean to keep the righteousness of the law from conforming to the flesh?
answer: The law is holy, and the commandments are holy, righteous, and good - refer to Romans 7:12 → Since the law is weak because of the flesh, there are things it cannot do → because when we are in the flesh, that "because of the law" "Law" gives birth to evil customs, that is, selfish desires. When selfish desires are pregnant, they give birth to sins. "As long as you keep the law more and more, sins will be born." The law is to make people aware of sins and know good and evil. The wages of sin is death. Know Good and evil must die → Therefore, because of the weakness of human flesh, the law was unable to perform the "holiness, righteousness, and goodness" required by the law → God sent his own Son to become the likeness of sinful flesh and became a sin offering. Having condemned sin in the flesh → redeemed those who were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons. Refer to Gal 4:5 and refer to Romans 8:3 → that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Amen!
ask: Why does the righteousness of the law follow only those who have the Spirit?
answer: The law is holy, righteous, and good→ the righteousness required by the law that is Love God and love your neighbor as yourself! Man cannot bear the righteousness of the law because of the weakness of the flesh, and the "righteousness of the law" can only follow those who are born of the Holy Spirit → Therefore, the Lord Jesus said that you must be born again so that the "righteousness of the law" can follow the children of God who are born of the Holy Spirit → Christ is one person " for "Everyone died → God made those who knew no sin, for We became sin so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him - refer to 2 Corinthians 5:21 → God made us in Christ → "become the righteousness of God". The law is spiritual and belongs to God. ; Since the law is a shadow of good things to come and is not the true image of the thing → the summary of the law is Christ, and the true image of the law is Christ → if I abide in Christ, I live in the true image of the law; if I do not live in "" shadow of law "Inside - refer to Hebrews 10:1 and Romans 10:4 → I abide in the image of the law: the law is holy, righteous, and good; Christ is holy, righteous, and good. Good, I abide in Christ and am a member of his body, "bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh"; I am also holy, righteous, and good → so God makes " the righteousness of the law ” This is accomplished in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
