【 one 】 Abraham's Covenant of God's Promise

Look up to the sky and count the stars. Can you count them?" And he said to him, "This will be the case with your descendants." Abram believed in the LORD, and the LORD counted it to him as righteousness.
Chapter 22 Verses 16-18 “‘Because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,’ declares the LORD, ‘by myself I swear, I will bless you greatly,’ says the LORD. "As for your descendants, I will multiply your descendants like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will have the gates of their enemies, and through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice." Turn again to Gal. 3:16. The promise was made to Abraham and to his descendants. God is not saying " descendants ", referring to many people, means " That descendant of yours ", Pointing to a person, that is, Christ .
( Note: We know that the Old Testament is a type and a shadow, and Abraham is a type of "Heavenly Father", the father of faith! God promised that only those born to Abraham would become His heirs. The promise was originally made to Abraham and his descendants. God does not say “all your descendants,” referring to many people, but “one of your descendants,” referring to one person, Christ. We are born through the true word of the gospel of Jesus Christ, born from the Holy Spirit, and born from God. Only in this way can we become children of the Heavenly Father, heirs of God, and inherit the inheritance of the Heavenly Father. ! Amen. So, do you understand? God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore! Amen. Abraham "believed" in the Lord, and the Lord counted it as righteousness to him. This is the covenant of promise that God made with Abraham ! Amen)

Let’s study the Bible [Genesis 17:1-13] When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “I am the Almighty God. Be perfect before me, and I will I will make a covenant with you to make your descendants extremely numerous.” Abram fell to the ground; God said to him again: "I have made a covenant with you: You will be a father of many nations. From now on, your name will no longer be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, because I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you a father of many nations. I will establish my covenant with you and your descendants after you throughout their generations, an everlasting covenant between you and your descendants after you. God. God also said to Abraham: "You and your descendants must keep my covenant throughout your generations. All your males must be circumcised; this is my covenant between me and you and your descendants, which you are to keep. . You must all be circumcised (the original text is circumcision; the same verses 14, 23, 24, and 25); This is the sign of my covenant with you: every male born in your family shall be circumcised on the eighth day after his birth, whether he is born in your family or is purchased with money from someone other than your descendants. Everyone you buy with money must be circumcised. Then my covenant will be established in your flesh as an everlasting covenant.

【three】 Imitate Abraham’s faith and receive the promised blessings
We search the Bible [Romans 4:13-17] because God promised Abraham and his descendants that they would inherit the world, not by law but by the righteousness of faith. Abraham believed in the God who raises the dead and brings things into being from nothing, and who is the Father of us men before the Lord. As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." Even when there was no hope, he still had hope through faith, and he was able to be the father of many nations, just as it was said before: "So shall your descendants be. "
Galatians Chapter 3 Verse 7.9.14 Therefore, you must know: Those who are of faith are the children of Abraham . … It can be seen that those who are based on faith are blessed together with Abraham who has faith. …so that the blessing of Abraham may come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that we may receive the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith and inherit the kingdom of heaven. .
