The veil covering the face of Moses

Exodus 34:29-35

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the law in his hand, he did not know that his face shone because the Lord spoke to him. Aaron and all the Israelites saw that Moses' face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. Moses called them to him; and Aaron and the officers of the congregation came to him, and Moses spoke with them. Then all Israel came near, and he commanded them all the words of the LORD which he had spoken to him on Mount Sinai. After Moses finished speaking to them, he covered his face with a veil. But when Moses came into the presence of the LORD to speak with him, he took off the veil, and when he came out, he told the Israelites what the LORD had commanded. The Israelites saw Moses' face shining. Moses covered his face with a veil again, and when he went in to speak with the Lord, he took off the veil.

ask: Why did Moses cover his face with a veil?
answer: When Aaron and all the Israelites saw the shining face of Moses, they were afraid to come near him

ask: Why did Moses' fair face shine?
answer: For God is light, and the LORD spoke to him, and made his face shine → God is light, and there is no darkness in him. This is the message we have heard from the Lord and brought back to you. 1 John 1:5

ask: What does Moses covering his face with a veil represent?
answer: “Moses covered his face with a veil” indicates that Moses was the steward of the law written on the stone tablets, not the true image of the law. It also typifies that people cannot rely on Moses and observe the law of Moses to see the true image and see the glory of God → The law was originally preached through Moses; grace and truth came from Jesus Christ. Reference--John 1:17. “Law” is the training master that leads us to “grace and truth”. Only by “believing” in Jesus Christ for justification → can we see the glory of God! Amen—see Gal. 3:24.

ask: Who does the law really look like?
answer: Since the law is a shadow of good things to come and not the true image of the thing, it cannot perfect those who come near by offering the same sacrifice every year. Hebrews Chapter 10 Verse 1 → “The express form of the law is Christ, and the summary of the law is Christ.” → The summary of the law is Christ, so that whoever believes in him will receive righteousness. Reference - Romans Chapter 10 Verse 4. Do you understand this clearly?

There was glory in the ministry of death written in stone, so that the Israelites could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory in his face, which was gradually fading away, 2 Corinthians 3:7

(1) The ministry of the law written in stone → is a ministry of death

ask: Why is the law written in stone a ministry of death?
answer: Because Moses brought the Israelites out of the house of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites collapsed in the wilderness. Even he himself could not "enter" Canaan, the land flowed with milk and honey promised by God, so the law was carved on stone. His ministry is a ministry of death. If you cannot enter Canaan or enter the Kingdom of Heaven according to the Law of Moses, you can only enter if Caleb and Joshua lead them with "faith".

(2) The ministry of the law written in stone → is the ministry of condemnation

2 Corinthians 3:9 If the ministry of condemnation is glorious, the ministry of justification is even more glorious.

ask: Why is the ministry of the law a ministry of condemnation?
answer: The law is meant to make people aware of their sins. If you know you are guilty, you must atone for your sins. In the Old Testament, cattle and sheep were slaughtered many times to atone for your sins → We know that the words in the law are spoken to those who are under the law, in order to stop everyone's mouth. Let everyone in the world fall under the judgment of God. Refer to Romans 3:19-20. If you keep the law of Moses but fail to do so, you will be condemned by the law. You will be condemned by Moses, because Moses is the steward of the law. Do you understand? Therefore, the ministry of the law is the ministry of condemnation. So, do you understand clearly?

(3) The ministry written on the tablet of the heart is the ministry of justification

Question: Who is the steward of the ministry of justification?
Answer: The ministry of justification, “Christ”, is the steward → People should regard us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. What is required of a steward is that he be faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Many churches today “ no "Steward of God's mysteries, no Ministers of Christ→They will do the Law of Moses~ The steward of condemnation, the ministry of death →Bring people into sin and become sinners, unable to escape from the prison of sin, leading people under the law and into death, just like when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and they all collapsed in the wilderness under the law; they were later called Stewards of righteousness → "No one can serve two masters." They are not God's faithful servants. They are blind leaders because they do not understand the mysterious things of God.

(4) Whenever the heart returns to the Lord, the veil will be removed

2 Corinthians 3:12-16 Since we have such a hope, we speak boldly, unlike Moses who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not gaze intently on the end of the One who would be destroyed. But their hearts were hardened, and even today when the Old Testament is read, the veil has not been removed. This veil in christ Already abolished . Yet to this day, whenever the Book of Moses is read, the veil is still on their hearts. But as soon as their hearts turn to the Lord, the veil is removed.

Note: Why do people all over the world cover their faces with veils today? Shouldn't you be alert? Because their hearts are hard and unwilling to return to God, they are deceived by Satan and are willing to stay in the Old Testament, under the law, under the ministry of condemnation, and under the ministry of death. They turn their ears away from the truth and turn to illusions. words. Cover your face with a veilIt indicates that they cannot come Seeing the glory of God before God , they have no spiritual food to eat, and no living water to drink → "The days are coming," declares the Lord God, "when I will send famine on the earth. People will be hungry, not for lack of bread, and they will be thirsty, not for lack of water, but because they will not listen to the voice of the Lord. They will They will wander from sea to sea, from north to east, seeking the word of the Lord, but will not find it. Amos 8:11-12

(5) With an open face in Christ, you can see the glory of the Lord

The Lord is the Spirit; where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We all, with open face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18

OK! That’s all for today’s communication and sharing with you. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us the glorious way. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit always be with you all! Amen
