Peace to all my dear brothers and sisters! Amen,

We opened the Bible [John 1:17] and read together: The law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Amen

Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "Grace and Law" Prayer: Dear Abba Holy Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen, thank the Lord! "The virtuous woman" sends out workers - through the word of truth written in their hands and spoken by them, the gospel of our salvation! Food is transported from afar and heavenly spiritual food is supplied to us in a timely manner so that our lives will be richer. Amen! May the Lord Jesus continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can see and hear spiritual truths and understand that the law was passed down through Moses. Grace and truth come from Jesus Christ ! Amen.

The above prayers, prayers, intercessions, thanks, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen

grace and law

(1) Grace does not care about works

Let us search the Bible [Romans 11:6] and read together: If it is by grace, it does not depend on works; otherwise grace is no longer grace; Romans 4:4-6 The wages of the work is not counted as grace. He deserves it; but to the one who does no works but believes in God who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. Just as David calls those who are justified by God apart from their works blessed. Romans 9:11 For the twins were not yet born, and no good or evil was done, but that God's purpose in election might be revealed, not because of works, but because of Him who calls them. )

(2) Grace is given freely

[Matthew 5:45] In this way you may become sons of your Father who is in heaven, for He makes his sun rise on the good and the evil, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unjust. Psalm 65:11 You crown your years with grace; all your paths drip with fat. (Note: Isn’t the sun, rain, dew, air, etc. also God’s grace, freely given to mankind?)

(3) Christ’s salvation depends on faith; it does not depend on obedience to the law

Let us search the Bible [Romans 3:21-28] and read together: But now the righteousness of God has been revealed apart from the law, having the testimony of the law and the prophets: even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ To everyone who believes, without distinction. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; but are now justified freely by God’s grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God established Jesus as the propitiation by virtue of the blood of Jesus and through man’s faith to demonstrate God’s righteousness; because He patiently tolerated the sins committed by people in the past in order to demonstrate His righteousness in the present time. that he himself may be known to be righteous, and that he may also justify those who believe in Jesus. If this is the case, how can you boast? There is nothing to boast about. How can we use something that is not available? Is it a meritorious method? No, it is the method of believing in the Lord. So (there are ancient scrolls: because) we are certain: A person is justified by faith, not by obedience to the law .

( Note: Both the Jews who were under the Mosaic law and the Gentiles who were without the law are now justified by God’s grace and are freely justified through faith in the salvation of Jesus Christ! Amen, it is not a method of meritorious service, but a method of believing in the Lord. Therefore, we have concluded that a person is justified by faith and does not depend on obedience to the law. )

The law of the Israelites was given through Moses:

(1) Commandments carved on two stones

[Exodus 20:2-17] "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." "You shall have no other gods before me." "You shall not have any for yourselves. You shall not make any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth below, or that is under the earth, or that is in the waters. ..." "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy..." "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you." "You shall not commit adultery." "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to him."

(2) Obeying the commandments will result in blessings

[Deuteronomy 28:1-6] “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and observe and do all his commandments, which I command you today, he will set you above all the people on earth. You If you obey the voice of the LORD your God, these blessings will follow you and come upon you: You will be blessed in the city, and you will be blessed in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your ground, and in the fruit of your cattle. Blessed will be your calves and lambs. Blessed will be your basket and your kneading basin. Blessed will you be when you go out, and blessed will you be when you come in.

(3) Breaking the commandments and being cursed

Verses 15-19 “If you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all his commandments and His statutes, which I command you today, these following curses will follow you and befall you: You Cursed will it be in the city, and cursed will it be in the field: Cursed is your basket and your kneading basin; Curse. You are cursed when you go out, and you are cursed when you enter. Galatians 3:11 No one is justified before God by the law. This is obvious; for the Scripture says, “The righteous shall be cursed.” Live by faith. "

(4) The law depends on behavior

[Romans 2:12-13] Because God is no respecter of persons. Anyone who sins without the law will perish without the law; everyone who sins under the law will be judged according to the law. (For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law.

Galatians Chapter 3 Verse 12 For the law was not by faith, but said, “He who does these things shall live by them.”

( Note: By examining the above scriptures, we record that the law was given through Moses, just as Jesus rebuked the Jews - John 7:19 Didn’t Moses give you the law? But none of you keeps the law. Jews such as "Paul" were as observant of the law as they were before. Paul was taught strictly by the law under Gamaliel. In terms of the righteousness in the law, Paul said that he kept the law and was blameless. Why did Jesus say that none of them kept the law? This is because they kept the law, but no one kept the law. They all broke the law. Breaking the law is sin, so they all sinned. This is why Jesus rebuked the Jews for not keeping the Law of Moses. Paul himself said that previously keeping the law was beneficial, but now that he has come to know the salvation of Christ, keeping the law is detrimental. --Refer to Philippians 3:6-8.

After Paul understood the salvation of God's grace through Christ, he also rebuked the circumcised Jews for not keeping the law even themselves - Galatians 6:13. Do you understand this clearly?

Since everyone in the world has broken the law, breaking the law is sin, and everyone in the world has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God loves the world! Therefore, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to come among us to reveal the truth. The summary of the law is Christ. --Refer to Romans 10:4.

The love of Christ fulfills the law → that is, it changes the bondage of the law into God’s grace and the curse of the law into God’s blessing! God’s grace, truth, and great love are demonstrated through the only begotten Jesus ! Amen, so, do you all understand clearly?

alright! This is where I would like to share my fellowship with you today. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be always with you all! Amen
