Peace to my dear brothers and sisters in the family of God! Amen.
Let’s open our Bible to Romans chapter 6 and verse 6 and read together: For we know that our old self was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, so that we should no longer serve sin. ; Amen
Today we will study, fellowship, and share " cross 》No. 6 Let’s pray: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! The virtuous woman [the Church] sent forth workers through the word of truth written in her hands and "the gospel of salvation which she preached." Bread was brought from afar from heaven to provide it to us in season, so that we Spiritual life is more abundant! Amen. May the Lord Jesus continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see spiritual truth→ Understand that our old man was united with Christ and crucified on the cross to destroy the body of sin so that we would no longer be slaves to sin, because those who have died are freed from sin. Amen !
The above prayers, supplications, intercessions, thanksgivings, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen
Our old man was crucified with Him
Let’s study Romans 6:5-7 in the Bible and read it together: If we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection, knowing that our old self has been crucified with him. The cross destroys the body of sin so that we can no longer be slaves to sin; for those who have died are freed from sin.
[Note]: If we are united to him in the likeness of his death
ask: How to be united in the likeness of Christ’s death?
answer: Jesus is the Word incarnate → He is "tangible" like us, a body of flesh and blood! He bore our sins on the tree → God laid the sins of us all upon Him. Reference-Isaiah Chapter 53 Verse 6
Christ was "bodied" when he was hung on the tree → our union with him is → "baptized into his death" → because when we were "baptized in water" we were baptized in "bodied bodies" → this is "we are in Christ" united to him in the likeness of death → Do you not know that those of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? So the Lord Jesus said: "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." → This is God's great love and grace, giving us "the easiest and lightest" → Let us "be with Him" Be united with Him in the form of death" → "Be baptized in water" is to be united with Him in the form of death! So, do you understand clearly? Reference-Matthew 11:30 and Romans 6:3
ask: How is our old man crucified with Him?
answer: use" Believe in the Lord "The method → is to use" confidence "Be united with Him and be crucified.
ask: Christ was crucified and died in the first century AD. It was more than two thousand years ago. We were not born at that time. How can our "sinful bodies", that is, our physical bodies, be crucified with Him?
answer: The Lord Jesus said: "All things are possible to him who believes" → He uses the method of "believing in the Lord", because in the eyes of God, the method of "believing in the Lord" has no time or space limitations, and our Lord God is eternal! Amen. So, do you understand?
So we use " confidence "Be united to him, for God has laid the sins of us all upon him → the "body of sin" in which Jesus was crucified → is our "body of sin" → because of him" for "We become→" crime "-become" body of sin "Shape → God made Him who knew no sin (who knew no sin) to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Reference - 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Romans 8 Chapter 3
→When you look at the "body of Jesus" that was crucified on the cross →You believe →This is "my own body, my sinful body" →My old body is "united" with Christ to become "one body" →You use Look at "visible faith" and believe in "the invisible me". You see Jesus hanging on the tree → "believe" that this is "the sinful body of my old man". If you believe in this way, you will be united with Christ and crucified successfully! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord! God's workers lead you into all truth and understand God's will through the "Holy Spirit". Amen! →
Our old self unites with Him for purpose:
For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection, knowing that our old self was crucified with him→ 1 "that the body of sin may be destroyed," 2 "That we should no longer be slaves to sin; 3 Because "the dead" are → "freed from sin". If we die with Christ, 4 Just believe and you will live with Him. Do you understand this clearly? Reference - Romans 6:5-8
Brothers and sisters! The Word of God is spoken by the "Holy Spirit", not by me. For example, "Paul" said that I am dead! It is I who live but not manifest. Christ lives in me. It is the "Holy Spirit" who moves people to speak spiritual things to spiritual people! I have to listen to it once or twice myself, shouldn’t you listen to it a few more times when you don’t understand? Letters are words that cause death → they are words of death; there are many people who only look at "letters" and cover their ears without being humble → "listen to the truth" and "ask three questions and four questions". The way of God can be understood by "listening", not by "asking" "Understand, you don't like to hear what the "Holy Spirit" says to people through the Bible → How do you understand God's will? Right!
alright! Today I would like to share my fellowship with you all. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen
