What is sin? Breaking the law is sin

Question: What is sin?

Answer: Breaking the law is sin.

Let’s study 1 John 3:4 in the Bible and read it together: Whoever sins breaks the law; and breaking the law is sin.

[Note]: By examining the above scripture records, what is "sin"? Breaking the law is sin. The law includes: commandments, statutes, regulations, and other provisions of various rules and regulations "covenant", this is the law. When you break the law and break the law, it is [sin]. So, do you understand clearly?

(1) Adam’s Law:

"Thou shalt not eat" is a commandment! In the Garden of Eden, "God made a covenant with man. He made a commandment with the ancestor Adam → Jehovah God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and guard it. The Lord God commanded him: "You may freely eat from any tree of the garden, but you shall not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day you eat from it you will surely die!" Refer to Genesis 2 Chapter 15 -17 knots.

The first ancestor [Adam] broke the law and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This was Adam breaking the law and breaking the law! Breaking the law is [sin], so Adam broke the commandment of the law and sinned. This Just as "sin" entered the world through one man, Adam, and death came from sin, "because the wages of sin is death" then death comes to everyone because everyone has sinned without the law. First of all, sin is already in the world; but without the law, sin is not considered a sin. In other words, if there is no legal commandment of "you must not eat", it would not be considered as if the ancestor Adam "ate of the fruit of the tree". Sin, because Adam did not break the law. Do you understand clearly? Refer to Romans 5:12-13 and Romans 6:23.

(2) The relationship between law and sin:

1 Where there is no law, sin is not considered sin--Refer to Romans 5:13
2 Where there is no law, there is no transgression--Refer to Romans 4:15
3 Without the law, sin is dead—see Romans 7:8. This is the relationship between law and sin! So, do you understand clearly?
4 With the law - if you sin under the law, you will be judged according to the law - Romans 2:12

(3) The fleshly one gives birth to sin through the law:

Because when we were "in the flesh," the evil desires that were born of the "law" were the evil passions and desires of the flesh. "Come; sin, when it has fully grown, brings forth death", that is, it bears its fruit of death. Refer to Romans 7:5 and James 1:15.

As the apostle Paul said: "Before I was alive without the law; but when the commandment came, sin came to life again, and I died. The commandment that gave life instead made me dead; because sin Taking advantage of the opportunity, he seduced me through the commandment and killed me. So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good. He who is good is the one who caused me to die. Absolutely not! It is sin that kills me. But sin is shown to be sin through the good one, and sin is shown to be extremely evil because of the commandment. Verses 9-13. So [sin] exists because of "the law". This is why "God" uses the apostle "Paul" who is the most proficient in Jewish law. "Paul" leads us to clearly find "sin" through the Spirit of God. "The relationship with "the law". Amen! So, do you understand clearly?

(4) Methods to solve sin: Now that the source of "sin" and "law" has been found, [sin] can be easily solved. Amen! Let’s see what the Apostle Paul teaches us

[Free from the law] → 1 But since we died to the law that bound us, "our old man was crucified and died in union with the Lord through the body of Christ." Now we are free from the law.... ..Romans 7:6 and Gal. 2:19 For by the law I died to the law.
[Freed from sin] → 2 For knowing that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin; for he who is dead is freed from sin. Amen! See Romans 6:6-7. So, do you understand clearly?
