Peace to my dear family, brothers and sisters! Amen. Let’s open our Bible to Hebrews chapter 9 verse 15 For this reason, He became the mediator of the new covenant. Since His death atoned for the sins committed by people during the time of the first covenant, He enabled the called ones to receive the promised eternal inheritance.
Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "The Love of Jesus" No. five Let’s pray: Dear Abba, Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! virtuous woman [The Church] sends workers to bring food from distant places and provide it to us in time, so that our spiritual life will be richer! Amen. May the Lord Jesus continue to illuminate our spiritual eyes and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see spiritual truths. Christ has become the mediator of the new covenant. Since he died to redeem those in the first covenant and entered into the new covenant, he has made the called ones inherit the eternal inheritance promised by Abba, Heavenly Father. . Amen! The above prayers, thanks, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen
The love of Jesus makes us heirs to the Father’s eternal inheritance
(1) Sons inherit inheritance; slaves cannot inherit inheritance.
Turn over and read Genesis 21:9-10 → Then Sarah saw Hagar the Egyptian mocking Abraham’s son, and she said to Abraham, “Cast out this slave girl and her son! For this slave girl "My son shall not inherit with my son Isaac." Now turn to Galatians chapter 4 verse 30. But what does the Bible say? It says: "Cast out the bondwoman and her son! For the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman."
Note: By examining the above scriptures, we record that the son born by the "handmaid" Hagar was born according to "blood"; the son born by the free woman "Sarah" was born according to the promise. These are the two "women" that are the two covenants → the Old Testament and the New Testament. old testament →Children who are born are born of "blood", and under the law, they are "slaves, slaves of sin" and "cannot" inherit the inheritance, so the children of the flesh must be driven out;
New Testament →Children born of a "free woman" are born of "the promise" or "born of the Holy Spirit". Those who are born according to the flesh → "Our old flesh is of the flesh" will persecute those who are born according to the Spirit → "the ones born of God", so we must drive out those who are born of the flesh and let those who are "born of the free woman" that is, The → "new man" of the Holy Spirit inherits the inheritance of the Father. So, do you understand clearly? I don’t understand. I must listen to it several times! Amen.
Our old human flesh is born of our parents, created from the dust as "Adam", born according to the flesh → born of sin, born under the law, we are slaves of sin, and cannot inherit the inheritance of the kingdom of heaven. →Refer to Psalm 51:5 I was born in sin, my mother was in sin from the time I was conceived. → Therefore, our old man must be baptized into Christ and crucified with Him to destroy the body of sin and escape from this body of death. Let those who are born of the "free woman" → 1 be born of water and the Holy Spirit, 2 be born of the gospel of Jesus Christ, 3 be the "new man" born of God, inherit the inheritance of the Heavenly Father . So, do you understand clearly?
(2) Based on the law and not on the promise
Let us study the Bible Galatians 3:18 For if the inheritance is by the law, it is not by the promise; but God gave the inheritance to Abraham on the basis of the promise. and Romans 4:14 If only those who are of the law are heirs, faith is in vain and the promise is nullified.
Note: According to the law and not from the promise, I have shared it with my brothers and sisters in the previous issue. Please go back and listen in detail! Today the main thing is to let brothers and sisters understand how to inherit the inheritance of Heavenly Father. Because the law provokes the wrath of God, those born according to the flesh are slaves of sin and cannot inherit the inheritance of the Father; only those who come out of the law → "born according to the promise" or "born of the Holy Spirit" are Only children of God and children of God can inherit the inheritance of their Heavenly Father. Those who are of the law are slaves of sin and cannot inherit the inheritance → they are of the law and not of the promise → those of the law are separated from Christ and fall from grace → they have annulled the blessings promised by God. So, do you understand clearly?
(3) We are the inheritance of our Heavenly Father
Deuteronomy 4:20 The LORD brought you out of Egypt, out of the furnace of iron, to make you a people for your own inheritance, as you are today. Chapter 9 Verse 29 In fact, they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out with your power and outstretched arm. Turn to Ephesians 1:14 again. This Holy Spirit is the pledge (original text: inheritance) of our inheritance until God’s people (original text: inheritance) are redeemed to the praise of his glory. Hebrews 9:15 For this reason he has become the mediator of the new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, having died to atone for the sins committed under the first covenant.
Note: In the Old Testament → Jehovah God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and out of the iron furnace, the slaves of sin under the law → to become a special people for God’s inheritance. However, because many Israelites did not “believe” in God, all the unbelievers were The wilderness of bankruptcy → serves as a warning to those in the last days. The children we bear through the promise of "faith" → the "Holy Spirit" are the evidence of our inheritance until God's people → God's inheritance is redeemed to the praise of His glory. Amen! Because Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant, he died on the cross for our sins → atonement for our sins. previous appointment "That is, the covenant of the law, by which those who were under the law were redeemed → from sin and from the law → and those who were called were allowed to enter." New Testament "Receive the promised eternal inheritance . Amen! So, do you understand clearly?
alright! Today I would like to share my fellowship with you all. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be always with you all! Amen
