Let’s open our Bible to 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 9 and read together: For God has not destined us for wrath, but for salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we study, fellowship, and share "Reserve" No. 2 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank the Lord for sending workers through the word of truth written and spoken by their hands → to give us the wisdom of the mystery of God that was hidden in the past, the word that God predestined for us to glory before all the ages!
Revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Amen! 【1】Everyone who was destined to eternal life believed
Acts 13:48 When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced and praised the word of God; and as many as were destined to eternal life believed.
Question: Everyone who is destined to have eternal life has believed. How can he believe in what to receive eternal life?

(1) Believe that Jesus is the Son of the living God
The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary! You have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you can name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; the Lord God will make him great. and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.” Mary said to the angel, “How can this happen if I am not married?” The power of the Most High will overshadow you, and the one who is to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:30- Verse 35 → Jesus said, “Who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered him, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." ” Matthew 16:15-16
(2) Believe that Jesus is the Word incarnate
In the beginning there was the Tao, and the Tao was with God, and the Tao was God. …The Word became flesh (that is, God became flesh, was conceived by the Virgin Mary and was born of the Holy Spirit, and was named Jesus! - See Matthew 1:21), and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. And we have beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father. … No one has ever seen God, only the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has revealed Him. John 1:1,14,18
(3) Believe that God established Jesus as the propitiation sacrifice
Romans 3:25 God established Jesus as a propitiation through the blood of Jesus and through faith, to demonstrate the righteousness of God because in his longsuffering he forgave the sins of men previously committed, 1 John Chapter 4 Verse 10 It is not that we love God, but that God loves us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins , this is love → “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. … He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not believe in the Son will not have eternal life ( (original text: shall not see eternal life), and the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3:16,36.
【2】God has predestined us to receive sonship
(1) To redeem those under the law so that we can receive sonship
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons. Since you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into your (original text: our) hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” You can see that from now on, you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, you rely on God is his heir. Galatians 4:4-7.
ask: Is there anything under the law? god Sonship?
answer: No. Why? →Because the power of sin is the law, and those under the law are slaves, slaves of sin. A slave is not a son, so he does not have sonship. So, do you understand clearly? Refer to 1 Corinthians 15:56
(2) God has predestined us to receive sonship through Jesus Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: just as God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before Him; because of His love for us He chose us in Him He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of his will, Ephesians 1:3-5
【3】God has predestined us to be saved through the Lord Jesus Christ
(1) Believe in the gospel of salvation
The apostle Paul said → The “gospel” which I also preached to you: First, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures → (1 to set us free from sin; 2 to set us free from the law and the law Curse) - refer to Romans 6:7, 7:6 and Gal 3:13, and buried (3 separated from the old man and his old ways) - refer to Colossians 3:9; also according to the Bible He said, He was raised up on the third day (4 that we might be justified, born again, saved, and have everlasting life! Amen) - refer to Romans chapter 4 verse 25, 1 Peter chapter 1 verses 3-4 and 1 Corinthians 15 chapter 3-4 Festival
(2) God has predestined us to be saved through the Lord Jesus Christ
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8 It is by grace you have been saved through faith; and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God;
