Lecture 9: Believe in the Gospel and Resurrection with Christ
Romans 6:8, If we died with Christ, we will also believe that we will live with him. Amen!
1. Believe in death, burial and resurrection with Christ
Question: How to die with Christ?
Answer: To die with Christ through “baptism” into His death.Do you not know that those of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that we might walk in newness of life, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father. Romans 6:3-4
Question: How to live with Christ?Answer: "Being baptized" means testifying to die with Him and testifying to living with Christ! Amen
You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. You were dead in your trespasses and uncircumcision of the flesh, but God made you alive together with Christ, having forgiven you (or us) all our trespasses; Colossians 2:12-13.
2. Formally united with Christ
For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection; Romans 6:5
Question: What was the shape of Jesus’ death?Answer: Jesus died on the cross, and this was the shape of His death!
Question: How to be united with Him in the form of His death?
Answer: Use the method of believing in the Lord! When you believe in Jesus and the gospel, and are "baptized" into the death of Christ, you are united with Him in the form of death, and your old man is crucified with Him.

(1) Resurrection is the spiritual body
The body that is sown refers to the body of Adam, the old man, and the body that is resurrected refers to the body of Christ, the new man. If there is a physical body, there must also be a spiritual body. So, do you understand? Reference 1 Corinthians 15:44
(2) Jesus’ flesh is imperishable
Foreknowing this, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ and said: "His soul was not left in Hades, nor did his body see corruption." ’ Acts 2:31
(3) The shape of Jesus’ resurrection
If you look at my hands and my feet, you will know that it is really me. Touch me and see! A soul has no bones and no flesh. You see, I do. ” Luke 24:39
Question: How to be united with Him in His resurrection likeness?Answer: Because Jesus’ flesh did not see corruption or death!
When we eat the Lord’s Supper, the Holy Communion, we eat His body and drink the Lord’s blood! We have the life of Christ within us, and this life (which has nothing to do with Adam’s flesh and blood). The regenerated new man is the flesh and blood of Jesus. This is to be united with Christ in the likeness of his resurrection. Until Christ comes and Christ appears in His true form, our bodies will also appear and appear in glory with Christ. Amen! 3. Our resurrection life is hidden with Christ in God
Because you have died (that is, the old man has died), your life (the resurrection life with Christ) is hidden with Christ in God. So, do you understand? Reference Colossians 3:3
