Covenant Jesus makes a new covenant with us

【1】Contract

Encyclopedia explanation: A contract originally refers to a document related to sales, mortgages, leases, etc. that is entered into by mutual agreement between two or more parties. It can be understood as "keeping promises." There are spiritual contracts and written contracts in the form of contracts. The objects can be diverse, including: business partners, close friends, lovers, the country, the world, all mankind, and contracts with oneself, etc. You can use "written contracts" to agree, and you can use "language" to agree. To make an agreement, it can also be a "silent" contract. It's like the "contract" written agreement signed in today's society.

【2】The Lord Jesus establishes a new covenant with us

(1) Make a covenant with bread and grape juice in a cup
Let’s study the Bible [1 Corinthians 11:23-26], open it together and read: What I preached to you was what I received from the Lord. On the night when the Lord Jesus was betrayed, he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is given for you.” ancient scrolls: broken), you should do this to record Remember me." After the meal, he also took the cup and said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink from it, do this in remembrance of me." Whenever we eat this bread and drink this cup, we are expressing the death of the Lord until He comes. And turn to [Matthew 26:28] For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins. Turn back to [Hebrews 9:15] For this reason He has become the mediator of the new covenant, so that those who are called may receive it by dying atonement for their sins committed under the first covenant. Promised eternal inheritance.

(2) The Old Testament is the first covenant

(Note: By studying the above scripture records, the Lord Jesus established the "New Covenant" with us. Since it is said to be a new covenant, there will be an "Old Covenant", which is the previous covenant. The "Previous Covenant" recorded in the Bible mainly includes: 1 God made a commandment with Adam in the Garden of Eden, "the covenant not to eat from the tree of good and evil", which was also a covenant of "language" law; 2 Noah's "rainbow" peace covenant after the great flood typified the new covenant; 3 The "promise" covenant of Abraham's faith typifies the covenant of God's grace; 4 The Mosaic Law Covenant was a clearly stated law covenant with the Israelites. Refer to Deuteronomy 5 verses 1-3.

(3) Sin entered the world from Adam alone

Adam, the first ancestor, broke the law and sinned and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil! Just as through one man sin entered the world, and through sin death came to all men, because all have sinned. However, from Adam to Moses, death reigned, and even those who did not sin like Adam were under his dominion - "That is, even those who did not sin like Adam are like us who are also dead Under the authority". Refer to Romans 5:12-14; the wages of sin is death – refer to Romans 6:23; the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law – refer to 1 Corinthians 15:56; the first ancestor Adam If a person violates a contract and commits a crime, he becomes a "Slaves of sin", all descendants born from the ancestor Adam are slaves of "sin", because the power of sin is the law, the descendants of Adam are under the law "You shall not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" Following the law of commandments. So, do you understand clearly?

(4) The relationship between law, sin and death

Just as "sin" reigns, it will be cursed by the law, which leads to death - refer to Romans 5:21 → Likewise, grace also reigns through "righteousness", causing people to gain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ eternal life. Amen! In this way, we know that "death" comes from "sin" - "sin" comes from one man, Adam, who broke the covenant of the law. Breaking the law is "sin" - refer to John 1 Chapter 3 verse 3. [ law ]--[ crime ]--[ die ] The three are interrelated. If you want to escape from "death", you must escape from "sin". If you want to escape from "sin", you must escape from the law, which means that you must escape from the curse that will judge you. Cursed is your covenant of law. So, do you understand clearly? Therefore, the "first covenant" is the law of Adam's covenant "not to eat from the tree of good and evil". We must rely on the Lord Jesus Christ to escape from it. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world (or translate: to judge the world; The same below), so that the world will be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned; whoever does not believe is already condemned because he has not believed in the name of God’s only begotten Son - refer to John 3 verses 16-18.

(5) The former covenant is released through the suffering death of Christ

God sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, to become flesh and be born under the law to redeem those under the law so that we can obtain the title of sons of God! Amen—see Gal. 4:4-7. As recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, according to the Bible, Christ was crucified and died on the cross for our "sins", 1 to free us from sin-" for When all die, all die; for those who have died are freed from sin - see 2 Corinthians 5:14 and Romans 6:7; 2 are freed from the law and the curse of the law - see Romans 7 Chapter 6 and Galatians 3:13; and being buried, 3 puts us off the old man and his old ways - see Colossians 3:9 and Galatians 5:24. He was resurrected on the third day, 4 for our justification - refer to Romans 4:25, according to His great mercy, God regenerated us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead! Let us gain access to the New Testament. Amen!

In this way we are freed from the sins that came from our ancestor Adam, and are freed from previous appointment "The covenant not to eat from the tree of good and evil. That is, Jesus died on the cross for us Lift The Old Covenant - the pre-Covenant Adam's Law Covenant! Our old man was baptized into the death of Christ, died, was buried, and rose with Him! The new man who is now regenerated is no longer in Adam's sinful life, and is not " previous appointment "In the Old Testament the law cursed, but in grace" New Testament 》In Christ! So, do you understand clearly?

(6) The person who left a testament in the first covenant dies, New Testament Take effect

The Israelites had the Law of Moses, and through faith in the Savior Jesus Christ, they were also freed from sin and the "shadow" Law of Moses and entered the New Covenant - refer to Acts 13:39. Let’s turn to Hebrews chapter 9 verses 15-17. For this reason, "Jesus" has become the mediator of the new covenant. Since he died and was "crucified for our sins" to atone for the sins committed by people during the "previous covenant", he will enable the called ones to gain God. The promised eternal inheritance. Any "new covenant" in which Jesus left a testament must wait until the person who left the testament (the original text is the same as covenant) dies, that is, Jesus Christ alone. for "All died; all died"; for all died "For as our old self was baptized into Christ and believed to die with Him, so we "Rescind the previous contract "Legal contract" and testament "that is, the new covenant that Jesus left with us with his own blood" are valid. That is to say New Testament It officially comes into effect. Do you understand clearly? ,

If the person who left a legacy is still alive "You don't have the old person" Believe in death "Become dead with Christ, that is, your old man is still alive, still alive in Adam, still alive under the law of the first covenant", that testament "that is to say - Jesus promised to leave a testament" New Testament "What does it have to do with you?" Is it still useful? Are you right? Everyone in the world understands the relationship between "contract and testament", don't you understand?

(7) Christ established a new covenant with us with his own blood

So on the night when the Lord Jesus was betrayed, he took bread, and after giving thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." Likewise he took the cup and said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood." Whenever you drink from it, do this in remembrance of me. "Every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you profess the death of the Lord until He comes. Amen! Thank you Lord Jesus for redeeming us from the law of the "first covenant" so that we may obtain the Son of God. Amen! He established a new covenant with us through his own blood, so that we who are called can receive the promised eternal inheritance!

alright! Today I will communicate and share with you all. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit be always with you all! Amen
